History took place on a cold April night at the Jersey Shore in week 4 as Dean Kremer and Tyler Holton combined
to throw a no-hitter for the South Florida Flamingoes in a 2-0 win over the New Jersey Riptide.
Kremer pitched his way around trouble early, getting four outs on deep flies (including two from IBL HR leader
Shohei Ohtani) and walking four. However, he didn't allow a baserunner after the fifth and retired the final nine
hitters he faced.
Tyler Holton came on with one out in the eighth inning and retired the final five New Jersey hitters of the game,
with Pete Crow-Armstrong grounding out to first base to end the game.
The no-hitter is South Florida's second in as many years, with Tyler Wells pitching a no-no in 2024.
