+GAMES ONE AND TWO
+The series is all tied up at one game apiece.  EDG took the first game 9-2 behind 7 strong innings
+from SD Chacin.  EDG's offense had 9 doubles out of their 15 total hits and also drew 7 free passes.
+ODM bounced back to take the second game 7-1 as bullpenning made its first appearance in the playoffs
+this season.  ODM starter BOS Fister was lifted after giving up a single run in 1.1 IP and the ODM bullpen
+led by CLE Salazar and lefties NYA Chapman and CLE Miller combined to shut out EDG the rest of the way,
+giving up 4 hits while striking out 11.
+TEX Hamels goes for EDG as the series shifts to ODM for game three.  ODM is sending BOS Fister out again
+to start game 3.
+GAME FIVE
+ODM and EDG had an instant classic with several lead changes in the deciding game of the wildcard series.
+ODM too a quick 3-0 lead in the first.  Aroldis Chapman came in to the 5th to protect a 3-1 lead with a
+runner on and no one out.  He promptly blew the lead and EDG went ahead by a single run 4-3.  In the 7th
+Josh Donaldson hit a 3 run homer to put ODM up 6-4.  But the ODM bullpen could not close it out as Andrew
+Miller allowed an inherited runner in the bottom of the 7th to score.  The run was unearned as Aaron Judge
+hit a hg to 2b. Cesar Hernandez tossed the ball to the normally sure handed Pat Valaika at ss and got the
+first leg of the double play but Valaika's throw to 1b sailed into the dugout and Aaron Hicks scored to
+make it 6-5.
+The score remained 6-5 until the bottom of the 9th.  Miller became fatigued to start the bottom of the
+ninth and gave up a single to Aaron Hicks.  Groundball specialist Dan Otero was summoned from the bullpen
+to face righty Carlos Correa who singled.  Up to the plate stepped Aaron Judge who hit a screamer right
+at Josh Donaldson who bobbled the ball to load the bases for Justin Smoak with no one out. ODM's last
+relief pitcher Chase Whitley came in to face Smoak who blasted a walk off grand slam.
+There will be questions in the media about the ODM managers bullpen strategy in game 5 but it appear
+this is the end of the road for this ODM squad as rumours are swirling that the franchise is moving to
+a new city and the roster will be blown up.  The ODM streak of 6 consecutive playoff appearances has
+been a good run but the team's inability to get out of the WC round the past two years after winning
+the IBL Championshp in 2016 has led ownership to question the strategy of winning at all costs by
+trading future draft picks to support the current squad.
+The news is not all good for EDG however as starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks was sent for an MRI
+immediately after his removal from the game reporting arm discomfort.  His status for the divisional
+round is unkown at this time (EDG did not do injury roll yet)
+Congrats to Rob for a hard fought victory in the series.
