This is an old revision of the document!

The ACCS is tied 2-2 following what has to be 3 of the 4 craziest games
of all time.

Gm 1: POR take a 2-0 lead in the top of the first off Scherzer with a
Ozuna HR. WMS battles back tagging Tanaka with 8 BR is 2.0+ and taking a
3-1 lead. POR scrapes one more back before another batter card 3 run HR
off Scherzer by Cruz sends POR to a 6-3 lead. WMS continues to get BRs
at an amazing clips and battles back to tie the game at 6 in the 7th.
POR battles back to take the lead once again 7-6 in the t8. In the
bottom of the 9th, following a Flores single, Jacoby Ellsbury hits a
park 3b to tie the game at 7 and put the walk off run at 3rd with one
out. A Mauer walk put Realmuto up who hammered a ball to the drawn in
Asdrubal Cabrera, who snagged the hot shot to keep the game going. Bryce
Harper then following with another hard grounder to send the game to
extras. In the top of the 10th, HOU Gurriel hits a HR off Matt Albers to
send POR up 9-7 which ended up being the final. WMS scatters 24
baserunners over 10 innings, including 19 hits (16 1b, 2 2b, 1 3b) and
leaves 15 men on base.

Gm 2: The one “normal” game of the series so far. CLE Kluber is
dominant and pitches 8.2 IP of 1-run ball and makes a 3 run WMS 5th hold
up. Final score: WMS 3 - POR 0

Gm 3: WMS opens up a 5-1 lead on POR thanks to Harper and Moustakas HRs.
In the 6th, POR comes alive and scores 8 runs in the course of 11
batters capped off by a Thames grand slam off Bryan “Mr Ground Ball”
Shaw. WMS battles back to with in two and then in the bottom of the 8th,
have runners on 2nd and 3rd with 0 outs when Bryce Harper hits a laser
shot to short which for a second looked like it would tie the game, but
is snagged by Asdrubal Cabrera for a game saving DP and preserves a 9-7
win for POR

Gm 4: POR send Tanaka back to the bump after a shaky gm1 outing against
Luke Weaver. Tanaka was pure gold and Weaver got tagged for a 2 run HR
by Gurriel on the second batter of the game, but settles in after that
to pitch 6 strong only giving up the 2 runs. WMS’s offense could do
nothing until the bottom of the 9th, when Aaron Altherr hits a 3 run
jack off Ryan Madson to cap a 4 run inning. Matt Albers closed out the
bottom of the 9th for a 4-2 WMS win.

WMS sends Max Scherzer to the hill in game 5 against either Ivan Nova or
Marco Estrada on short rest for POR. The way the rollbot has been toying
with both teams, the remained of the series should be must see “TV”
