2015 season, week 21 NYK@GTY

On a warm fall day in Gettysburg, with partly cloudy skies and no wind, waiver wire pick-up 
Chris Young set out to prove that he belonged in a starting rotation.  28 batters and 109 
pitches later, he had pitched a complete game no-hitter against the New York Knights.  The 
only blemish on his day was a first inning walk to JD Martinez.

The feat wasn't without peril, as Young allowed 4 deep fly rolls, but as luck (rollbot) would
have it, none left the yard.  Young also got a little defensive help, as Mike Aviles, who had
just come into the game as a defensive replacement for Elvis Andrus in the top of the 7th, 
bare-handed a high chopper and fired to first to get JD Martinez.  Young also got a little 
help from mother nature, as a high fly ball off the bat of Grady Sizemore could have fallen
in center field if not for the partly cloudy skies.

Young finished the second no-hitter in Gettysburg Generals history (Gavin Floyd had the first)
with 7 strikeouts.

Young said in his post-game interview that this was the highlight of his career after being
summarily dismissed by Seattle Rainier management.
