+A crazy, intense series got even crazier with some poor late-inning
+defense.  A leadoff triple by Ichiro scored a run on a groundout
+giving GTY a 1-0 lead off Felix Hernandez early.  WCW struck back with
+a big three run inning in the second, keyed by a Jeff Baker two RBI
+double.  GTY plated a single run in the 6th to close the gap, while
+Jason Marquis kept WCW in check through six innings.
+Then things got ugly.  A quick hook on Felix Hernandez for bullpen ace
+Neftali Feliz once again backfired, as Feliz surrendered two runs and
+the lead in the top of 7th.  A key part of the rally was an error by
+normally sure-handed Derek Jeter, who has done next to nothing right
+in the series.  Marquis finished the 7th unscathed, and Feliz pitched
+a scoreless 8th.  GTY brought on bullpen ace George Sherrill to start

+innings in game four of the NCCS.  Washtenaw ace Tim Lincecum was

+the 5th inning and tired after six because of only three days rest.
+Gettysburg starter Gavin Floyd was even better, allowing only a walk
+and single through six, one of which was erased on a double play.
+As usual, WCW called on bullpen ace Neftali Feliz to start the 7th
+inning, and, as usual, Feliz faltered.  A one out single by Polanco
+followed by a park triple by hot-hitting Elvis Andrus gave GTY a 1-0
+lead, although Feliz did manage to strand Andrus by striking out

+(and has apparently already left for Japan, permanently), he will be
+replaced on the WCW playoff roster by OAK Landon Powell.  Powell is
+best known for catching Dallas Braden's perfect game and sucking in
+general in 2010.
